The Oceanside Project: The Nectary
OC-Nectary-F01

The Lambswool Nectary
26 Landgraab Avenue

Exterior Front

The Nectary's architecture is different compared to the other buildings on the island. George wanted his nectary to look more like the images of buildings he saw in Fitz's travel books of Monte Vista.

Ah, it's a house! It took me a while to figure that out... :P But again (as usual) it looks so great. Love the grapes and wine items everywhere, and you've done a great job with the space. It's so spacious and yet doesn't really look that big. And it's such a beautiful style of architecture too. Don't get me wrong--I like the seaside cottage look, but it's nice to get some variety in town too! :D

I was kind of nervous thinking it wouldn't look very "beachy" and it wouldn't fit in but I kind of like it looking different! Thank you!

I get tired just looking at all the effort you put in building Oceanside. It's nice to start adding different architectural styles (no offence, Oceanside signature condo :p), it gives the place an historical dimension, with a style typical of the first days and settlers and then newer developments.

And this place looks great (*coughsimselfprivilegesshowingcough*), I love the Californian feel.

Thank you! I love building -- more than playing actually. That's why I started a BACC to force myself to PLAY.

In the neighborhood I live in there are a bunch of tract homes that all look alike. But when you leave the community there are custom homes that look different but still blend in. That's what I was trying for with the nectary.

Tee-hee! Nothing's too good for my sim self :P
